What is visible light?
Light waves are made by vibrating magnetic and electric fields. They are also a form of electromagnetic radiation (Randy Russell). Visible light is only one of the types of radiation on the electromagnetic spetrum. The wavelengths of the light waves can be 400 to 700 nanometers long. Red light is the longest wave and violet is the shortest. Even though red light has the longest wave length, violet has a much higher frequency then red does.
